The “National Pharmaceutical Championship 2025” organized by the Vahe Meliksetyan Foundation took place on November 8.
The event brought together 22 teams, comprising 110 pharmacists, who demonstrated their professional knowledge and team spirit by addressing numerous discipline-specific questions and analyzing real clinical cases throughout the Championship’s four intensive rounds.
The members of the Championship Committee closely followed the entire process, ensuring a healthy competitive environment and providing fair and objective evaluation.

Members of the top three teams received gift packages provided by the event’s partner organizations, while the winning team was awarded a 1 million AMD grand prize.
A special panel discussion was also held covering the topic “The Role of Clinical Pharmacists in the Context of Healthcare Reforms.” Speakers Narine Mirzoyan, Tatevik Hovakimyan, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Armen Ohanyan, and Melanya Sahakyan discussed the importance of effective collaboration between pharmacists and physicians, as well as potential pathways to achieving it. The panel was moderated by Marta Simonyan, the event’s host.
