The Artfor’s — art for more: artists save lives

The #ArtForArmenia charity online auction launched in favor of Insurance foundation for servicemen and Vahe Meliksetyan foundation and will last on 11-18 December 2022, for only one week!

The Auction generated funds will support Armenian servicemen and their families who suffered from the hostilities in Armenia and Artsakh – more than 4,400 families of those deceased or missing in action and more than 600 disabled war veterans. The auction format assumes the highest transparency: winners of the auction will transfer the amount directly to the fund depending on whose artwork they purchase.

This is the 2nd charity auction #ArtForArmenia which will take place on a new online platform The Artfor’s. The 1st #ArtForArmenia Auction was held in November 2020 with proceeds over $42,000 in favor of Servicemen and their families.

The online auction features more than 50 works by artists from all over the world who donated their graphics and drawing from classics to abstract art, as well as monumental and small paintings and sculptures. The auction features works by Yuri Grigoryan, Harutyun Dzhinanyan (Jino), Ekaterina Rozhkova, Galina Bystritskaya, Aram Danielyan, Rafael Manukyan and others. Most of the works can be viewed live at the ArtKvartal Gallery in Yerevan on 11-14 December 2022.

A unique art object of Arthur Vardanyan – traditional Armenian lavash with the face of Christ miraculously burnt out – is an unconditional phenomenon of current auction. “I am the living bread” is one of the limited edition items in which only 33 lavashes were baked with the blessing of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Another such lavash is presented in the Sergei Parajanov Museum in Yerevan. The work from the series is put up for public sale for the first time.

Become part of the Auction. You have a unique opportunity to get a unique art piece for the benefit of our Servicemen and their families. The full catalog is available on the auction website theartfors.com. Bidding will last until December 18.
