The “Yearning for” exhibition presented by the artist Peto Poghosyan and “Vahe Meliksetyan” foundation was held at Dalan Art Gallery, on September 13-15.
The generated profit of the “Vahe Meliksetyan” foundation has amounted to 2 million AMD, which will support the implementation of the foundation’s educational-medical programs aimed at developing clinical pharmacy in Armenia.
Peto Poghosyan presented his watercolor works at various prestigious international exhibitions and biennials, including the Shanghai International Watercolor Biennial (2011), Shenzhen International Watercolor Biennial (2013), National Watercolour Society 94th International Exhibition (USA, 2015), Masters of Watercolor Invitational International exhibition (St. Petersburg, 2017), IMWA, International Masters of Watercolor Alliance Contest, Bronze Award (China, 2022), etc. Peto tries to find mystery in an everyday stream, emphasizing one or another element to pass the atmosphere and tell a story. Peto works with watercolor combining drybrush with wet-on-wet technique.
“Vahe Meliksetyan” Educational-Medical Foundation was established in 2021 with the aim of developing clinical pharmacy in Armenia. The foundation’s mission is to realize Vahe’s professional dream. In the previous three years, Vahe Meliksetyan Educational-Medical Foundation provided 57 beneficiaries with more than 23 million AMD – scholarships, tuition fee coverage, educational grants, and training.
